Overview

The IDE is Engine's natural language development environment where you can pair programme alongside Engine.

Messages - Here is where you can chat to your AI software engineer to work collaboratively.

Hot swap your AI model, adjust the prompt, and clear context using the dropdown menus at the top.

You can give feedback on Engine's responses underneath each message - this helps us improve!

Code view - View and edit code on the right hand side of your workspace. Changes are automatically synced to Github.

Use the 'View' dropdown to switch this view between your code, running processes, and your projects development database.

Stop/Refresh - These buttons are located next to the user input box. Use these buttons to stop LLM output or refresh your container environment.

Settings etc - Use the buttons in the top right to open your project in github.dev, manage secrets, and access IDE settings.

Container URL - This is the web location of your cloud environment.
